Projects

We are so excited! After tons of work, sweat and sore muscles our first ever DIY project is complete.  Yes, i know, most people start with one chair - an occasional chair but no that is not what we are about.  Over the last several weeks we purchased 7 old wood chairs.  Here are some pics of the before - but everyone knows what these look like before - like all the others.

Sanding, priming, 2 coats of spraying and then a coat of varathane ...... then off to the fabric store to pick out the perfect colour to re-cover the chair pads.  Yikes, after bringing the fabric home I nearly had a heart attack - in our dining room the fabric looked blah!  All night i had nightmares.  But we slogged on.  Today we finished our first attempt at upholstering.  Oh we are happy!  Here they are!
